Also the auto fill of the commit dialog (active ticket number + short description) and the connectivity to bugtracking systems would be very great.
Actually the whole mylyn stuff is the only thing i miss since leaving eclipse behind.

And I agree that the connection to a bug tracking system is much less important than the context idea.
Incidentally, we're stating to move our stuff to git. And given the ease with which you can hop between branches in git, and how cheap branches are in git - there's a practice of creating a branch for each context of work in git. This type of use case would dove-tail wonderfully with a mylyn-like task focused UI in IDEA. Given that there seems to be strong commitment to git integration it would make even more sense to do a mylyn-like UI.
Wouldn't it be great to switch focus automatically when you change branches in git?.
I loved using Mylyn in Eclipse and yearn for it in IDEA! Integration with Atlassian too, please.
