For one reason or another, you have to wait for several minutes before a test actually starts. I gave up using the plugin and simply tun my tests from the command line.

It appears development of this plugin has stopped. Meanwhile TestNG is still releasing new features that don't work with this plugin...

If you accidentally install this on 8.1 on mac it will stop test NG from working. As indicated, uninstall the plugin, then mount the dmg file and copy the Contents/pugins/testng directory to the corresponding place in the app.

The plugin for testNG is now bundled with Intellij; if like me you mistakenly installed this one you can first uninstall this one, and then re-install 8.1 over your current installation of intellij to recover the bundled plugin. I didn't lose any of my setups or settings in intellij by re-installing this way.

plugin is very good.
i use 1.0.7 .

only a plroblem :

it include all project on "make" when i tell make before run of test but Junit-test plugin only include current module on "make".

I'm using version 1.0.7 with IJ 6.0.2. For the most part the plugin works great but I've noticed that when running tests it seems to include *all* the modules that I have in my workspace in the -classpath variable used to launch the tests. In the configuration for the test I have 'Use classpath and JDK module of' pointing to the module holding the test class, so I would expect the class path to be limited to just things which that module depends on.

I run the lastest version(1.0.0),but broke. I found that TesgNG-J don't include project dependencies in classpath.

The 0.5.7 is OK.

Same problem as darkace, it runs fine on suites but not on individual test classes, where it looks for a suite. I've posted the problem in the forums.

It seens ti kill all runtime configurations in my project.

Doesn't work in simplest scenario - Run class. Spits 'WARNING: No test suite found. Nothing to run' on me. Which the hell of a suit? I want to run a class!

Excellent plugin!

Only things still missing are:

1) Code Coverage integration does not work on IDEA 6.0
2) A toolbar button to re-run only the failed tests (TestNG itself already provides this functionality)
