On the build side ... it is functional, but it definitely isn't what it could be. None of the Maven plugins work well on the build side. If you're looking for a build plugin, the Maven integration plugin is a slightly better choice than this one. But this one can't be beat for POM integration.
However, why does it take so long to download artifacts when opening a project for the first time when all the libraries are already in the local repository?
And this is a huge issue in the maven world.
** I like it is in the project menu right click enables maven.
** The dependency --> module library generation is great
*** Suggestion 1:
The command mvn idea:idea is for me the way into a project. Therefore a module name consensus with idea:idea would be good.
*** Suggestion 2:
Focus on pom-iml integration, and drop maven build features. Here plugins like Maven 2 Integration works very well.
It is getting stuck in some kind of loop. I launch IntelliJ, go away for the weekend, and it is still "Processing POM's"
Just one issue. Your modules name should not contain any '-' or it will not be processed. I tried this with IDEA 6.0.2.
